Westmount Country Club Wedding | Lauren + Matt

Congratulations to the newlyweds, Lauren and Matt!

“When the rain tried to crash Lauren and Matt’s Westmount Country Club wedding, the sun had other plans. What followed was pure magic — and yes, a French bulldog in a tuxedo might have stolen the show.”

Thank you so much for letting me document your incredible wedding day recently. From your autumn engagement session in Central Park (those fall colors were a dream!) to your unforgettable wedding celebration at the Westmount Country Club, every moment spent photographing your love story was an absolute blast.

Lauren and Matt are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet — the kind of couple that instantly makes everyone around them feel like family. And then there’s their French bulldog, Tyson, who made a surprise appearance during the getting-ready moments. Dressed in a tiny tux and full of personality, Tyson definitely earned the title of “Cutest Groomsdog Ever.”

A Perfect Day at the Westmount Country Club

The Westmount Country Club is one of my all-time favorite wedding venues in New Jersey — and for good reason. The elegant interiors, stunning views, and top-notch staff make every wedding there feel effortless and elegant.

Just before the ceremony, a few raindrops started to fall and everyone held their breath. But as soon as Lauren began walking down the aisle, the rain stopped, the clouds cleared, and the most beautiful sunshine poured through the trees. It felt like Mother Nature herself gave the couple her blessing!

The Celebration: High Energy and Full of Heart

From heartfelt vows to a dance floor that never emptied, Lauren and Matt’s celebration was pure joy from start to finish. Every toast, laugh, and happy tear told the story of two people deeply loved by everyone in the room.

The night wrapped up with a romantic sparkler send-off, lighting up the night as the couple shared one last kiss before heading off into married life.

Lauren and Matt, thank you again for having me capture your big day. Wishing you both a lifetime of laughter, adventures, and maybe even more tuxedo moments with Tyson!

Crystal Tea Room Wedding in Philadelphia | Kami & Grant

Congratulations to the Newly-Weds!

It was a perfect day in the heart of Philadelphia for Kami and Grant’s wedding — the kind of light and energy every wedding photographer dreams of capturing. Their celebration took place at the historic Crystal Tea Room, located inside the iconic Wanamaker Building. Originally opened in 1911, this grand ballroom is one of Philadelphia’s most elegant wedding venues. With its soaring ceilings, timeless architecture, and the magnificent chandelier that glows over the dance floor, it was the perfect setting for such a joyful celebration.

I first met Kami’s father, a retired state police officer, years ago while photographing a fellow officer’s wedding. We stayed in touch over the years, and when he asked me to document his daughter’s wedding, I was truly honored. Grant, a proud United States Marine and graduate of the Naval Academy in Annapolis, brought so much heart and integrity to the day — thank you, Grant, for your service!

Their ceremony, officiated by Kami’s grandfather — a pastor — was emotional, joyful, and deeply personal. Surrounded by family and friends, the couple’s love and faith were beautifully reflected in every moment.

The reception that followed was nothing short of magical. From the elegant décor to the energy on the dance floor beneath the Crystal Tea Room’s chandelier, every detail was picture-perfect.

As a Philadelphia wedding photographer, it’s moments like these that remind me why I love this work — capturing real stories filled with emotion, family, and joy. Congratulations, Kami and Grant, on a truly beautiful wedding and the start of a lifelong adventure together!

Happy Wedding Anniversary to Kristen and AJ!

Today, we celebrate the beautiful love story of Kristen and AJ on their wedding anniversary! It’s hard to believe that it has already been a year since I had the absolute pleasure of capturing their special day. As a wedding photographer, I often find myself reflecting on the unique moments that make each celebration unforgettable, and Kristen and AJ’s wedding was certainly no exception.

I had the honor of photographing Kristen’s sister, Nicole, a few years ago, and when Kristen reached out to me to document her own wedding, I felt truly honored. It’s always a special feeling to be invited back into a family’s most cherished moments, and Kristen and AJ’s wedding was a stunning continuation of that legacy.

From the very start, everything about their day was perfection. Kristen looked absolutely breathtaking in her Galia Lahav wedding gown, which flowed beautifully as she walked down the aisle. The intricate lace details and the elegant silhouette were a testament to her impeccable taste and style. The ceremony took place at the historic National Shrine of Saint Rita of Cascia. There were so many emotions in the air, with heartfelt tears of joy streaming down the faces of family and friends as they witnessed the couple exchange their vows.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued at The Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia. This venue, known for its elegance and charm, was transformed into a magical space filled with beautiful decor and floral arrangements crafted by the talented team at Carl Alan Floral Designs.

The energy in the room during the reception was palpable, thanks to the incredible music provided by the Eddie Bruce Band. They had everyone on their feet, dancing and celebrating the newlyweds all night long. It was a joy to capture the laughter, the tears of happiness, and the unforgettable moments that unfolded during the celebration.

As I look back on Kristen and AJ’s wedding day, I am filled with gratitude for being part of such a significant moment in their lives. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and the promise of forever. Happy anniversary, Kristen and AJ! May your love continue to grow and flourish, just as it did on that beautiful day. Here’s to many more years of happiness together!

Valley Regency Indian Wedding | Naomi + Michael

Valley Regency Indian Wedding: Oh, what a week it was! I feel so incredibly lucky to have documented the beautiful wedding celebrations of Naomi and Michael. From the moment we did their engagement session at Princeton University to their two-day Indian and Christian weddings, every moment was full of love and joy. Thank you both for letting me be a part of it.

I have to be honest, it’s such an honor when I get to watch someone grow up and then document their own wedding. I first met Naomi years ago when she was just a teenager and a bridesmaid at her cousin’s wedding. It was so moving to see her get her turn to tie the knot.

The celebrations themselves were breathtaking. Their Indian wedding at the Mahatma Gandhi Center was an incredible burst of color and tradition, and their Christian ceremony and reception at the Valley Regency was simply perfect—a truly gorgeous day from start to finish.

To Naomi and Michael, congratulations again! Thank you for allowing me to document your love story. I wish you both a lifetime of adventure, laughter, and endless love.

The Union League of Philadelphia Wedding | Alexis + AJ wedding

The Union League of Philadelphia Wedding: Some couples just feel like family, and that’s exactly how I’ve come to feel about Alexis and AJ. I first met Alexis when I had the honor of photographing two weddings for her close family friends, and she and her sister were bridesmaids in both. When Alexis reached out to me to document the very first wedding in their family, I was so touched. It’s truly special to be trusted to capture such a significant day, and their elegant, black-tie affair was a dream to photograph.

As a wedding photographer, I get to witness so many different love stories, and theirs is one of the most remarkable. This beautiful couple met while in med school and are both surgeons. I can only imagine how much dedication and hard work that takes, and to find love along the way is truly a testament to their connection.

Alexis and AJ chose two of Philadelphia’s most beautiful and historic venues. Their ceremony was held at the Kimmel Center, a stunning, modern space that provided a dramatic backdrop as they exchanged vows. It was a beautiful, intimate moment, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued at the iconic Union League of Philadelphia for the reception. The Union League is steeped in history, founded in 1862 as a patriotic society to support the Union during the Civil War. It’s a place that has hosted presidents, dignitaries, and leaders from around the world. As their website states, the motto, Amor Patriae Ducit—or “Love of Country Leads”—still drives the club today. The ballroom itself is one of my favorite venues to photograph; its grandeur provides an incredible backdrop for a celebration. A special thank you to the amazing team at the Union League for their exceptional hospitality; it’s now officially one of my favorite wedding venues in Philly!

The evening was a beautiful blend of history and celebration. The decor, expertly crafted by the amazing Vito Russo of Xtraordinary Events, transformed the space into a breathtaking party. A personal highlight for me was photographing Alexis and AJ’s first dance from above. The perspective was just spectacular, capturing the magic of the moment as they swayed under the beautiful ballroom lights.

With everyone dressed to the nines, the energy was absolutely electric. The dance floor stayed packed all night, filled with so much joy, laughter, and a true sense of community.

Congratulations again, Alexis and AJ! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness.
