Will never forget the fun we had during your gorgeous wedding in Cancun, Mexico. We documented Elba and Anthony’s wedding at the GRAN CARIBE REAL RESORT IN CANCUN, MEXICO. This place is pretty amazing by the way, if you are looking for a great destination wedding venue in Cancun. The wedding staff here are very nice and helpful! And great working with Christian and his wife Claudia of MEDIAMORFOSIS CINEMATOGRAPHY. What a talented crew! They rocked the video coverage for Elba and Anthony!

The day after the wedding, we took Elba and Anthony to an adventure. We all drove to a Mexican cenote where we shot their “trash the dress”. Here’s a little something about this unique body of water – “A cenote is a natural pit, or sinkhole resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath. Especially associated with the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico, cenotes were sometimes used by the ancient Maya for sacrificial offerings.” Mexican cenotes are very unique locations for trash the dress shoots. Many famous Mexican photographers, like my good friend Ivan Luckie, do amazing underwater shoots here. During my own shoot, we got so lucky with a beautiful day and just the right amount of light entering the caves covering part of the cenote we were in. And one of the images I shot during this trash the dress session has won a lot of awards including the People’s Choice Award for Rangefinder magazine’s International Wedding Competition.

I am very excited to be part of Rada and Konstantin’s union at The Vie this weekend. One of the coolest couples you will ever meet, Rada and Konstantin are so much fun to photograph. Until now I still cannot believe they got into the water while shooting at a fountain in Philly under the 40 degree weather that evening. Check out this month’s issue of Brides, an international award-winning bridal magazine, which features a whole page advertisement promoting the island of Aruba. One of my images from Kara and Anthony’s wedding was used for this ad. Kudos to the staff of The Concept Farm Advertising Agency for doing an amazing job with this campaign!

I guess you can call it  ”an image that went viral”…LOL – another use of this Aruba image was recently spotted at one of the best travel magazines in the world – TRAVEL + LEISURE. Check it out! Stay tuned for more announcements..

I want to share some of my favorite images that I shot while working on a personal project in Venice, Italy this year. Shooting in Venice is like a dream come true for a photographer. It’s a picture perfect venue for any amazing photo shoot…no wonder it became the film location for plenty of Hollywood movies, such as THE TOURIST, starring ANGELINA JOLIE and JOHNNY DEPP, or the ITALIAN JOB, starring MARK WAHLBERG, CHARLIZE THERON, JASON STATHAM (click on the title to see the trailers).

The Piazza San Marco is the perfect location for a bridal shoot in Venice, Italy. Aside from the amazing architecture surrounding the square, the light that falls into the square during sunrise makes this place a favorite for photographers.

I was lucky enough to have found something to do while in Athens, Greece. Heheheh. I did a Bridal photo shoot in the THE ANCIENT CITY OF ATHENS: ACROPOLIS.

Shot this with only one strobe using the Canon 580 EX II with my Pocket Wizards remote lighting. We shot on top of the AREOPAGUS HILL, with the ANCIENT ACROPOLIS in the background. The hills of AREOPAGUS is where Apostle Paul delivered his famous speech about the identity of “the Unknown God.”
