Cescaphe Ballroom Wedding – Happy Anniversary! I thank Suzann and Bill for making me part of their memorable and special day. They are such a nice and sweet couple, and knowing them is such a blessing. The love that this couple have for each other has been such an inspiration for younger couples out there. Their romance began back when they were teenagers, but when life circumstances changed they moved on with their own lives.  After a few years, their path crossed again and a new love story has begun. I am very lucky to document the pinacle of this love story during the celebrations of this couple’s union last week at the Cathedral Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul and at Cescaphe Ballroom in Philadelphia. Check out the following images from their beautiful wedding…

Bill’s daughter Maggie is Suzann’s maid of honor. She and her brother Nick are so blessed to have Suzann as their second mom.

Springfield Country Club Wedding – Their wedding was a blast. They tied the knot at Nancy’s home parish at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Springfield, then has their beautiful wedding reception at Springfield Country Club.  I commend everyone in their bridal party for braving the 30 degrees temperature outside. I was a little nervous, and for sure they were too, cause from Tuesday through Thursday a storm pounded Philadelphia and caused widespread flooding in the region. But Friday’s weather was a blessing for this sweet couple!

We met Jen and Jeff through their mutual Penn State friends, whose weddings we photographed. Like what I mentioned in my previous post, their wedding was 4th wedding I documented among their circle of friends. It all started with Alicia’s wedding at the Curtis Center back in 2011, then Liz’s wedding at Loews Hotel, then Jennifer’s wedding at Dupont Country Club. It’s the power Penn State grads, that brought us to this wonderful group!

Check out these images from their beautiful wedding at Tendenza in Philadelphia.

Jeff started his BIG day with his groomsmen at the famous 2B Groomed Barber Studio on South 11th Street in Philadelphia. I love this place for its ambience, it brings you back in time.

Jen got ready in their beautiful Philadelphia apartment with her bridesmaids. I love what she did with her nail polish!

Jen’s uncle walked her down the aisle at the beautiful and historical Old St. Mary’s Church in Philadelphia , the second Roman Catholic Church in Philadelphia. According to its website, this church “was built in 1763 … and it was the site of the first public religious commemoration of the Declaration of Independence.

I love this alone moment that Jen and Jeff shared in the back of Old St. Mary’s Church minutes after their wedding ceremony.

Then after the wedding ceremony, we headed down to another historical Philadelphia landmark – the Second Bank of the United States (circa 1818).

I had so much fun with this bridal party! Here I photographed  them at –

Elfreth’s Alley — popularly known as “Our nation’s oldest residential street”. According to their website, “this street dates back to the first days of the eighteenth century. Twenty years after William Penn founded Pennsylvania and established Philadelphia as its capital, the town had grown into a thriving, prosperous mercantile center on the banks of the Delaware River.”

Their wedding reception was held at the always gorgeous Tendenza. I have to say, Tendenza’s modern look and it’s elegant decors make it one of the best wedding reception in Philadelphia to photograph.

They tied the knot at St. John the Evangelist Church and followed by a celebration at The Downtown Club in Philadelphia! Their wedding day heavy downpour of rain only meant one thing – “There’s going to be a heavy downpour of blessings and great fortune for the newly weds for many years”. As usual, Beautiful Blooms did a phenomenal job with the flowers for Jen’s wedding.

Just in time…as soon as I positioned the bride and groom for the traditional Philadelphia City Hall picture, the rain start pouring down. Snapped a few frames then ran back to the limo bus. Thanks to Bless for holding the umbrella, not for me, but for the Canon 1Dx…LOL

I am so in love with this picture of Jen and Tom in front of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. I shot a few frames while we were waiting for the limo bus to pick us up. 

Got so lucky that after the wedding ceremony, the heavy downpour actually downgraded to occasional drizzle. Prayers were answered!

The Downtown Club Wedding reception: It was great to be back again at The Club. I love the chic and the modern look of this newly renovated venue. Great job Cescaphe Group for reviving it!

I met Yvonne and David through their circle of friends, whose weddings we photographed. It was so nice to see everyone again…it was like a big reunion of all our brides and grooms. Their wedding at Church of the Holy Trinity and their reception at the Atrium at Curtis Center was pretty amazing! What a great day to end our 2014 wedding season.
