Paris Engagement Photos – As a destination wedding photographer, there’s nothing quite like the thrill of capturing a love story in an iconic setting. That’s exactly what happened when we traveled to the enchanting city of Paris, France, for Angela and Paulo’s engagement session.

This was more than just a photoshoot; it was an immersive experience, taking us from the vibrant energy of the Champs-Élysées to the romantic glow of the Eiffel Tower, and finally to the grand, historic gates of the Palace of Versailles. Every frame of this epic engagement shoot tells a story of passion, joy, and a connection that transcends expectations.

Even with the typical December chill of Paris, the warmth of Angela and Paulo’s love shone through, making every moment an absolute dream. It was a challenging yet incredibly rewarding experience, and undeniably one of my favorite shoots to date!

I also want to extend a special thank you to JM Ronquillo, a phenomenal make-up artist based in Cannes, France. Her talent and dedication were instrumental in making this shoot such a success.

We are so proud to announce that one of my images from a wedding shoot in Aruba is being used as one of the official images for Aruba’s Ad campaign in New York City buses.

ARUBA DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER: CONGRATS TO KARA & ANTHONY!

Today I will be documenting the wedding of Kara and Anthony, a lovely couple from New York City. After meeting this couple last year at the Great Bridal Expo in Manhattan, there’s no doubt in my mind that they are a match made from heaven.

I am very honored to be part of their special day in Aruba. I remember mentioning to them how wonderful Aruba was when they were looking for ideas for a nice destination wedding. Thanks to that wonderful experience I had two years ago when I shoot Steve and Valerie’s wedding at the Westin Aruba. It’s great to be back again….and can’t wait for Kara and Anthony’s beach wedding this Friday….which is way better than the Royal Wedding of course. And for sure it will be lovely! LOL

Check out Kara and Anthony’s engagement images shot at the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. We got lucky that day, it was one of the few days in April when the temperature rose to the 70s…perfect day to shoot.

Just the right timing…the sun is peeking through the Manhattan skyline.

RON SOLIMAN WINS TWO ACCOLADES OF EXCELLENCE IN THE 2010 AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE 16×20 PRINT COMPETITION

RON SOLIMAN of BEAR, DE, has received special honors in the WEDDING & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL (WPPI) 2010 Awards of Excellence 16×20 Print Competition. Designed to recognize outstanding photographers, the judging was held in Las Vegas, NV on March 6 and 7, 2010.

“PASTOR COVERS BRIDE” & “GROOM LIGHTS A CIGAR” each received an Accolade of Excellence in the Wedding Details category.

SOLIMAN competed against an international field of photographers to win such honors.

The Awards of Excellence 16×20 Print Competition awards are presented each year at the largest trade show, educational platform and convention in the United States for professional photographers. The 2010 competition included 3388 prints in 18 different categories submitted by photographers from all over the world.
