…we are so excited to be part of this amazing wedding of Alicia and Mark at the WESTIN DIPLOMAT RESORT IN HOLLYWOOD, FL. We met Alicia and Mark back in 2011 in Washington DC, where both are now based. They chose to do a destination wedding in Florida and what a great choice to hold their BIG DAY at the amazing Westin Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, FL. This resort, which is about 30 minutes away from Miami, Florida, actually reminds me of the Westin Resort in Aruba, where we have stayed a couple of times when we shoot weddings there. We are very impressed with how hospitable the staff at this hotel are. And the view is just so breathetaking! Today I will be documenting the wedding of Kara and Anthony, a lovely couple from New York City. After meeting this couple last year at the Great Bridal Expo in Manhattan, there’s no doubt in my mind that they are a match made from heaven.

I am very honored to be part of their special day in Aruba. I remember mentioning to them how wonderful Aruba was when they were looking for ideas for a nice destination wedding. Thanks to that wonderful experience I had two years ago when I shoot Steve and Valerie’s wedding at the Westin Aruba. It’s great to be back again….and can’t wait for Kara and Anthony’s beach wedding this Friday….which is way better than the Royal Wedding of course. And for sure it will be lovely! LOL

Check out Kara and Anthony’s engagement images shot at the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. We got lucky that day, it was one of the few days in April when the  temperature rose to the 70s…perfect day to shoot.
