We celebrate a very special milestone for Nikki and Dean, whose stunning Greek wedding I had the incredible honor to photograph. Their ceremony at the beautiful St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Bethesda was a breathtaking representation of Greek traditions and love.
One of the most memorable moments from their wedding was the joyous send-off at the end of the ceremony, where family and friends showered the couple with rice. This charming custom symbolizes fertility, prosperity, and good luck, and it was a delight to capture the laughter and excitement as the couple made their way into their new life together.
Following the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration continued at the historic Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. Just a few minutes walk from the White House, this iconic venue has hosted presidential inaugurations and countless memorable events since its inception. The elegance of the Mayflower perfectly complemented the joyous atmosphere of Nikki and Dean’s reception, which was filled with laughter, love, and, of course, spirited Greek dancing!
To Nikki and Dean, thank you for entrusting me with the privilege of capturing your wedding day. Your love story is an inspiration, and I wish you both many more years of happiness, adventure, and togetherness. Cheers to you both on your anniversary!
