AWARD WINNING PICTURE

The results are out and Yay!…..one of my images placed in the top 3 in the Reception category in the The Wedding Photojournalist Association Second Quarter Photography Competition.

This is a big deal for me since this is an international competition among the best of the best in wedding photojournalism. Thanks to Shannon and Rohan for letting me document their special day! The image was captured during Shannon’s mother and daughter dance at her wedding. It was an emotional moment for both the bride and her mother, most especially because she lost her father few years ago and was not able to witness his beautiful daughter on her wedding day.
